The University of South Wales was founded in 2013 through the merging of the University of Glamorgan and the University of Wales, Newport.

Entry Requirements to study at the University of South Wales

Postgraduate Courses:

• At least 55-60 % in Bachelors or CGPA of 6.5 or higher (on a scale of 10).
• IELTS: 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in the writing module and 5.5 in the others (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

Undergraduate Courses (after 12th):

• Completion of All India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) or Indian School Certificate (CISCE) with an average of 55% Higher Secondary Certificate (State Board) with an average of 55%.
• IELTS: 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in the writing module and 5.5 in the others (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

USW MBA program:

• 60% or higher in the Bachelors degree in India or a minimum UK second-class honors degree or recognized international equivalent qualification. 15 years education in India is accepted to apply for an MBA at USW.
• No work experience is required to study an MBA at USW. However, relevant work experience can help with admissions as well as scholarships
• USW MBA comes with an optional one year work placement, thereby allowing the students, an opportunity to work in the UK for one year after the USW MBA.
• IELTS: 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in the writing module and 5.5 in the others (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score). Work experience is not essential for admission to the MBA.
