Entry Requirements to Study at Bangor University

Postgraduate Courses

  • At least 60% in Bachelors or CGPA of 6.3 or higher (on a scale of 10).
  • IELTS: 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in the writing module and 5.5 in the others (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

Undergraduate Courses (after 12th)

  • Completion of All India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) or Indian School Certificate (CISCE) with an average of 65% Higher Secondary Certificate (State Board) with an average of 65% while some courses may require 75% in that subject area.
  • IELTS: 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in the writing module and 5.5 in the others (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

Bangor MBA

  • Bachelor’s degree with Bangor University after graduation with 60% or higher
  • IELTS: 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in the writing module and 5.5 in the others (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)
  • Fresh graduates with no work experience can apply for the MBA

Scholarships for Indian students:

Bangor University offers a range of scholarships to Indian students starting courses in January.

  1. All eligible Indian students will automatically be considered for international merit scholarship worth £2,000.
  2. All outstanding Indian students (e.g. 1st class honours degree holders) will be automatically considered for a £4,000 merit scholarship for Bangor campus.
  3. Students eligible for £4,000 scholarship will be eligible to apply for additional £2,000 British Council Great scholarships.
