Cranfield Location

Cranfield University campus is 40 minutes away from central London by train, with the nearest towns being Milton Keynes and Bedford. London Luton airport is the closest to the University, while Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted are all easily accessible via train and coach.

Cranfield Defence and Security is around 50 mins from London by train and around 25 mins from Bristol by train. Bath, Cheltenham, Bristol and Oxford are all within an hour’s drive and London less than two hours away by car.

Postgraduate Courses (Masters) – entry requirements

  • English Requirements: IELTS 6.5 for most programmes with no less than 6.0 in any module. For some programmes, Cranfield requires students to have at least 6.5 in modules like Writing, Reading
  • Academic Requirements: 60% or above in Bachelors. However, we recommend, you must have over 70% to have a realistic chance. Most applicants are interviewed by the admissions committee. This is great opportunity for students since any shortcomings in your application or profile can be discussed during the interview round

  • IELTS score of 7.0
  • GMAT score of 600 or higher. We recommend 650+ (GRE score in the 80th percentile for both verbal and quantitative reasoning is acceptable)
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience after graduation. However, given the Cranfield MBA class profile where the average age is 32 years, we suggest at least 5 years of experience
