Entry Requirements to Study at The University of Manchester UK

Postgraduate Courses

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized institution with first class. 
  • IELTS: 7 with no less than 6.5 or 5.5 in each section depending on the courses (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

Undergraduate Courses (after 12th)

  • Completion of All India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) or Indian School Certificate (CISCE) or Higher Secondary Certificate (State Board) with an average of 80 %. 
  • IELTS: 6.0-7.0 with no less than 5.5 in each section (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

MBA/Executive MBA program

  • Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 3 years post graduation experience(which does not include summer placements, part-time or temporary work experience).  
  • IELTS: 6.5 with no less than 6 in each section (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

Offer-holders will be contacted directly by The University of Manchester with confirmation that they have been nominated by Wednesday, 15 May 2019.

Value is Home tuition fees and maintenance. Number available – Normally 10-12 scholarships each year. Tenable period is of 3 years.

Research Impact Scholarships in Alliance Manchester Business School 2018-19

Value is  £19,000 per year. Tenable period is for three years to cover tuition fees and maintenance allowance.

Commonwealth Scholarships and Fellowships Plan (CSFP) General Scholarship

This is not by The University of Manchester UK. It is general for studying in UK. Value varies depending on type of award.The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission supports around 750 awards annually at universities around the Commonwealth.

Deadline for Undergraduate Courses after 12th:

The normal closing date to receive applications for full-time undergraduate courses is 15th January for September intake. If possible, try to ensure that your application reaches the university by this date. The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) send all applications it receives after 15 January (until 30 June). But The University of Manchester UK can’t guarantee they will give the same level of consideration or offer as those that arrive by 15 January.
