Entry Requirements to Study at The University of Winchester UK

Postgraduate Courses

  • At least 70 % in Bachelors from a recognized institution. 
  • IELTS: 6.5 with no less than 5.5 in each section (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

Undergraduate Courses (after 12th)

  • Completion of All India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) or Indian School Certificate (CISCE) with an average of 70 % Higher Secondary Certificate (State Board) with an average of 75 %. 
  • IELTS: 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each section (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

MBA/Executive MBA program

  • First or second-class Honours degree with a minimum of two years’ work experience.
  • IELTS: 6.5 with no less than 6 in the writing module and 5.5 in the others (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

VICE CHANCELLOR’S SCHOLARSHIP (INTERNATIONAL)

The international Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship (International) is currently available for Vietnamese or Thai postgraduate taught applicants to the University of Winchester who, as part of their UK studies, contribute to the University’s international strategy. Open to Nationals of Thailand or Vietnam only who are applying for a postgraduate taught program. Criteria: Applicants will be assessed based on their academic suitability and their ability to contribute towards the University’s international strategy. Value: 1x £5,000 per country, 5x £2,000 per country

INTERNATIONAL TAUGHT MASTERS SCHOLARSHIP

The International students scholarship is available to all International (non EU) students applying for a postgraduate taught programme at the University**. Open to: International Students applying for a postgraduate taught programme. Criteria: Must have accepted an offer from the University of Winchester
Value: £1,000. How to apply: Automatically awarded after accepting an offer.

Deadline for Undergraduate Courses after 12th:

The normal closing date to receive applications for full-time undergraduate courses is 15th January for September intake. If possible, try to ensure that your application reaches the university by this date. The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) send all applications it receives after 15 January (until 30 June). But The University of Winchester UK can’t guarantee they will give the same level of consideration or offer as those that arrive by 15 January.
