Entry Requirements to study at Victoria University of Wllington New Zealand

 General entry requirements (exact requirements may vary from course to course)

Postgraduate Courses: At least 55 % in Bachelors or CGPA of 5.5 or higher (on a scale of 10). IELTS: 6.0 with no less than 6.0 in the writing module and 6.0 in the others (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

Undergraduate Courses (after 12th): Completion of All India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) or Indian School Certificate (CISCE) with an average of 70 % Higher Secondary Certificate (State Board) with an average of 70 %. IELTS: 6.0 with no less than 6.0 in the writing module and 6.0 in the others (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

MBA program: Bachelor’s degree with minimum three years work experience after graduation (which does not include summer placements, part-time or temporary work experience). IELTS: 6.5 with no less than 6.5 in the writing module and 6.0 in the others (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

Scholarships for Indian/International students

ACC “Jonathan Nicholls” Scholarship – The scholarship offers a $5000 bourse for students wishing to study the actuarial sciences.  ACC is dedicated to supporting those wishing to study Actuarial Science and looking to pursue a career in the actuarial profession.

Alison Morton Scholarship in Ecology/Marine Biology – The $2500 scholarship shall be awarded annually to a full-time student enrolled in a BSc (Hons) or MSc in Ecology or Marine Biology. The student must have completed undergraduate study at Victoria University of Wellington. In making the award the panel will take into account not only the academic merits of the candidates but also their financial need.

Bowen Eye Clinic Scholarship – This scholarship is open to students enrolled at Victoria University of Wellington undertaking a Masters or PhD in the School of Biological Sciences, or the School of Psychology. Students will be selected on the basis of their aptitude for technical laboratory work and work ethic, however, financial hardship may be taken into consideration as a secondary factor.

The application deadline for admissions to Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand would be December 1st. ILW India advises students to begin applying at least by early November, to allow for the university to assess and complete the paperwork.
