  2. The Preston-based University is the fifth highest riser nationally and is now ranked joint 5th out of 12 North West universities.
  3. The Guardian’s table, renowned for focusing on the aspects of the university experience which are deemed to be of greatest importance to students, ranks eight UCLan subject areas in the top 20, compared with four last year.
  4. The eight subject areas which feature in the top 20 are: dentistry; general engineering; social policy and administration; drama and dance; film production and photography; fashion; sports science; and anatomy and physiology.

Entry Requirements to Study at University of Central Lancashire

Postgraduate Courses

  • At least 65 % in Bachelors or CGPA of 6.8 or higher (on a scale of 10).
  • IELTS: 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in the writing module and 6.0 in the others (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

Undergraduate Courses (after 12th)

  • Completion of All India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) or Indian School Certificate (CISCE) with an average of 65 % Higher Secondary Certificate (State Board) with an average of 65 %.
  • IELTS: 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in the writing module and 5.5 in the others (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

MBA/Executive MBA program

  • Bachelor’s degree with University of Central Lancashire after graduation (which does not include summer placements, part-time or temporary work experience).
  • GMAT score accepted by the University of Central Lancashire is usually around 590. However, ILW suggests students to aim for 600.
  • IELTS: 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in the writing module and 6.0 in the others (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

The bursary and scholarship is offered to students for each year of their study (except for the sandwich year)
