Entry Requirements to Study at University of Derby UK:

Postgraduate Courses

  • At least 60-65% in Bachelors Degree from a recognized institution. 
  • IELTS: 6.0 or 6.5 depending on the courses with no less than 5.5 in each section (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

 

Undergraduate Courses (after 12th)

  • Completion of All India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) or Indian School Certificate (CISCE) or Higher Secondary Certificate (State Board) with no specific percentage or cut off mentioned.
  • IELTS: 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each section (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

 

MBA/Executive MBA program

  • A UK 2.2 (or above) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized British or overseas Institutions. All subjects are considered, but possession of degrees or relevant experience in related subjects will be advantageous.
  • IELTS: 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each section (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

Scholarships for Indian/International students:

Excellent International Student Scholarship:

£5,000 scholarship to a limited number of eligible undergraduate and postgraduate international students who can demonstrate excellence in their application. You will need to achieve high academic results exceeding the entry criteria for the course and demonstrate excellence in extracurricular activity, either in your own time or through your employment in the last two years in your personal statement

Leadership Scholarship (MBA only):

£5,000 scholarship to a limited number of eligible postgraduate international students on the MBA course. You will have evidence of high leadership skills in previous or current work experience and have achieved high academic results exceeding the entry criteria for the course.

Regional High Achievers Scholarship:

£3,000 scholarship to a limited number of eligible undergraduate and postgraduate international students from India.

Postgraduate (PGT) Scholarship:

£2,000 scholarship for all eligible international students studying a postgraduate taught programme (PGT). If you are not successful in being awarded an international scholarship, you will automatically be awarded this discount.

Early Bird Discount:

£500 discount to eligible undergraduate and postgraduate international students who pay the tuition fees in full by the time of enrolment.

Masters Alumni Discount:

£500 discount to eligible postgraduate taught international students who have completed a bachelor or masters degree at the University of Derby.

Application Deadlines to study at University of Derby UK:

Deadline for Undergraduate Courses after 12th:

The normal closing date to receive applications for full-time undergraduate courses is 15th January for September intake. If possible, try to ensure that your application reaches the university by this date. The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) send all applications it receives after 15 January (until 30 June). But University of Derby UK can’t guarantee they will give the same level of consideration or offer as those that arrive by 15 January.
