Entry Requirements to Study at University of Leicester UK

General entry requirements (exact requirements may vary from course to course)

Postgraduate Courses: An average of at least 60/75% (depending on the subject that you wish to study in Bachelors. IELTS: 6 with no less than 5.5 in each sub skills (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

Undergraduate Courses (after 12th): Completion of All India Senior School Certificate (CBSE) or Indian School Certificate (CISCE) or Higher Secondary Certificate (State Board) with at least average of 75 %. Many courses at the University of Leicester, you will need 80% overall or higher, along with higher individual marks of 85% in relevant subjects. IELTS: 6 with no less than 5.5 in each components (or equivalent TOEFL or PTE score)

MBA Courses – Postgraduate degree or diploma from a recognised institution. Need a minimum of three years’ appropriate and relevant postgraduate work experience (defined as having worked in a supervisory, managerial or professional role). IELTS – 6.5 or equivalent. GMAT – Score of 550+

This scholarship gives you a 10% fee discount on your tuition fee for each year of full-time study at the University, up to a maximum of three years.

Deadline for Undergraduate Courses after 12th

The normal closing date to receive applications for full-time undergraduate courses is 15th January for September intake. If possible, try to ensure that your application reaches the university by this date. The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service also known as UCAS send all applications it receives after 15 January (until 30 June) but the university can’t guarantee they will give the same level of consideration or offer as those that arrive by 15 January except for Medicine which has an earlier closing date of 15 October.

Deadline for Postgraduate Courses

Generally, University of Leicester UK does not have an application deadline for postgraduate courses. However, we recommend all students to apply at least by 15th May for the September start.
