  • Bachelor’s degree with 50% plus minimum six months work experience after graduation (which does not include summer placements, part-time or temporary work experience)

Accommodation Scholarship (Medicine)

Free University-managed accommodation in Scotia Quay for Year 1 of study and a discount of 50% on University-managed accommodation in Year 2. Scholarship amount – 50% on University accommodation.

International Scholarship

£1,500 tuition fee reduction (undergraduates) or £1,000 tuition fee reduction (postgraduates). All international students studying on-campus undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

Study Abroad Scholarship

Up to £1,000 cash to fund a short international programme in Year 2.

Futures Fund Excellence Scholarship

Up to £2,000. Any penultimate year full-time student, studying with the University of Sunderland, who is considered, by their board of study, to be on track for a first class honours degree.

The normal closing date to receive applications for full-time undergraduate courses is 15th January for September intake. If possible, try to ensure that your application reaches the university by this date. The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) send all applications it receives after 15 January (until 30 June). But University of Sunderland UK can’t guarantee they will give the same level of consideration or offer as those that arrive by 15 January.
